Is God mad at us for staying on daylight savings time or something? It's snowing in Langford. In March.
We need more autistic politicians, but it would also be annoying and stressful.
@susankimyyj.bsky.social baby geese exist!
There's jokes on here too! You gotta broaden your horizons.
I, and I cannot overstate this, LOVE Ken Jennings.
And I'm really glad to hear this will be a positive change for you!
Chris, I know it might feel like it but I really don't think this OP was meant to minimize other's experience. Michael was saying they haven't experienced it as impacting but they're acknowledging that the evidence suggests it's a bigger deal than they realized.
A man who lives in my condo told me (after telling me my dog can't pee in our yard?) that I "look better" with blonde hair so now I have to cut it shorter and dye it a weird colour because that's exactly the opposite of what I'm going for.
GOSLINGS THANK YOUUUU!!!
Also, since we know more collisions happen after the time change I think this isn't the worst choice. Leaving it would be.
I hear that! I guess I just think we should be doing some of the other things we know keep people safe. They don't get hit by cars because it's dark. Kids are always going to have to go places in the dark at some point. We should be looking at primary prevention through infrastructure.
I personally think changing time is the worst option lol. But unfortunately which way we went was already decided a long time ago so it is what it is. I think there are pros and cons to each with likely more (evidence-based) pros to standard time. But no matter what you do, short days suck.
I do not want to read e-mails I only want to read books.
PS...I've asked before but I'll ask again...anyone want to be friends on storygraph so we can see what each other is (are?) reading and judge it?
After we "spring forward" this weekend we're on Pacific Time full-time!
It's Baby Jane Doe night! #thepitt
Phew, dodged a bullet there...
How much is Trump going to increase tariffs if we beat them at hockey?
ALSO JUST GOT AN AD FOR WEGOVY- ANOTHER GLP1...LET ME FAT IN PEACE
tl:dr fuck ozempic
Watching the women of Team Canada crush the gold medal game against the U.S. and feeling VERY IRRITATED that it is sponsored by Ozempic. You think these women could play hockey if they were on GLP1's?
In true island form...it is snowing for the first time this winter in the middle of February.
i refuse to do anything for the time beingβthe time being is already far too powerful
I want to repost this, but unfortunately it's at 666 shares and that feels sacred.
I know. I am hoping there are updates soon.
Thinking of the parents of kids at Tumbler Ridge Secondary right now as they wait to find out if their child is hurt or dead. Lots of questions and no answers right now.
Well, actually I did make my kid a Gengar (Pokemon) hat/scarf combo for Halloween the year before last. It had claws!
It was my first, but thinking of making him a frog too because he sits like a frog when he looks out the window.
Tbh, he was looking out the window and the expression is likely "that's my bike path" as he resents other people/dogs using it.
I'll tell him you call dibs.
