A Belgian Shepherd and a kitten are ice fishing, both wearing thick jackets. The shepherd dog is amused by the transparent, penguin like creatures ahead, while the kitten with a thick scarf is warming up their hands with a bottle of hot cocoa. The silhouette of a tall structure can be seen in the distance, behind the tree line. A bridge, perhaps the metro railway extends from the building towards the front left. The whole painting is cold toned with the exception of the characters clothing and the dog’s fur, expressing the winter coldness and the warmth of affection between parent and child.
It feels like I didn’t improve at all, but this is drawn with limited palette so would be more challenging I guess :3

A sheep and raccoon dog hybrid that is me stares at the camera nervously, as if caught doing something bad. The character is holding a pair of chopsticks, picked up with them are shreds of paper and doodles pulled out from the sketchbook in the character’s other hand. This piece is meant to represent how I love consuming art, and how I enjoy consuming the art I create myself too.
