One thing that modern Spider-Man Media never adapts is the fact that Peter Parker is an arrogant incel asshole.
That juxtaposition of Peter being this huge tool while spider man is this paragon of good is such a good character trait. It shows he's just human under all of it.

The only reason Let Me Be Your Thrall sold so well at PAX is because a few people wouldn't shut up about it, and then a bunch of people wouldn't shut up about it, and then I almost sold out at my first physical print run

legit i think the most successful i have been at selling a ttrpg was when a random post about one of mine got a bunch of reblogs on tumblr. if you like something made by an independent creator (not even just ttrpgs! podcasts, webcomics, videos, whatever) you gotta be loud and annoying about it
