How does one keep with motivation with applying for UX jobs when it looks so dire out there? Any suggestions much appreciated, Iβm pretty close to finding new avenues outside of UX design if I canβt even get a junior role rn.

I know Spotify isnβt the ideal place for musicians, but Iβm glad some parts of music history is preserved. One of the most underrated bands Rye Coalition, Jimmy Walkover is a fine decent song for your morning
Same here. Itβs wild out here
Howβs everyone doing applying for UX jobs, are we totally effed up rn?
This sounds so fulfilling. Itβs a goal of mine to be doing what you are doing.
πππ completely replacing humans isn't going to go well
The βAI jobs apocalypseβ heralded by AI CEOs like Dario Amodei and Sam Altman is a story with one particular audience in mind: the bosses who are eager to see it happen
Amazing thank you!
Do any other UX or Web Designers out there have favorite apps or sites I can look at? I really like to analyze other digital products to see how they function. π€
A screen shot of the Intrest section of the Bluesky application
@bsky.app can we have an option in the βIntrestβ section for adding more categories manually? Or if there is a way, let me know where I can find that. Thank you!
Amazing thank you!
Hi my name is Thenna. Whats your company? I'm interested
Spotify dayplaylist based on my Saturday music selections.
my daylist right now: hardcore youth crew saturday evening.
Its only because I'm riding my bike through Prospect Park that I'm blasting this on a JBL speaker and giving no Fs. Plus the worlds on fire so listening to this is more appropo than ever.

Who here is dreading making your portfolio site look half way decent so you can get a job. Anxiety induced moments as a UX designer rn π¬
Its scary for everyone. As a junior looking into their first UX job /position I am not confident right now. Reminds me of when I was looking for something after the economic crash of 2008 π
Totally the reason I got into the setting/books is because of this logo!
Iβm interested, letβs link up. Talk soon

Spring in Brooklyn is finally here, no more cold dark winter days. Pictures from my backyard and the beautiful park near my house overlooking the Hudson and East River.

The next step is to see if they would actually go to court over this. Lovable isnβt planning any changes soon.
Understand they are trying to go public with their IPO soon, but what a weird hill to die on.
Great study case!
Your flow, prototypes and mock ups look π€πΎ
I would recommend putting your over view first rather then your intro.
Introduction could be edited to be more concise.
Your over view sums up the problem, goals and your intent better than the introduction.
Who thinks Figma will actually go after Lovable in court? Even though they technically own the trademark for Dev Mode, could they actually enforce this?
Reminds me of when Momofuku tried doing the same thing with βChili Crispβ βChili Crunchβ nonsense.
All caps is an affront to people trying use the form. Mind boggling
Hi! Let me know if you need any help with the UX side. I have some time set aside a week to volunteer on projects.
Nice to meet you, Iβm a recent UX designer pivoting from hospitality who has did work for an AI start up. Letβs talk!
Definitely use the red. I like the red by itself, and you would stand out from the other blue cards π€πΎ
I donβt mind it, itβs like making fun of people who use Canva to design stuff. Thereβs nothing wrong with Canva, but I think thereβs some snobbery there.
Vibe coding is the same way. I donβt code well, still learning. But I donβt mind people using tools to help what they need done faster.
