Not because I am judging the parents but because I am the most chill parent of the bunch. But also they are 10 and I just don't think a kid needs to be that connected 24/7. They email a bunch.
She is devastated and her friends all have it and she is feeling left out but she is autistic and can sometimes be ... an easy target for mean stuff iykwim. I just can't believe the other parents allow it. I am a bit shocked by it actually.
My 10yo asked to use discord on Friday. I said no. Idk if I am doing the right thing. Even discord says 13yo. Considered putting it on my phone but that's creepy. Don't want it on the kid phone - she spends about an hour on it alone in her room at night.

Family vacations are hard for us. We tried a city vacation and kid had a meltdown in the hotel - we were so worried we would be kicked out. Tried camping and the sensory issues kept her (and by association, us) awake for 3 days. It was brutal. Looking to commiserate with other ND family stories.
