I'm giving a talk on the Viking Age and its impact on Ireland for the local Irish Coastal Club on February 13th at the Pawcatuck Firehouse (CT). I'm already looking forward to talking about the archaeological and textual evidence, as well as dispelling some of the myths.

I created a LibGuide that might be useful for some people. While not comprehensive (my original plan had far more resources), it provides an entry point on the subject of the Viking Age in the British-Irish Isles.

New to the platform!
While at EAA last year, I was able to explore the Ulster Museum and marvel at all of the different artifacts. Here is a photo of a 9th-10th c. brooch found near Ballymoney, County Antrim
