Why did you put your shovel away? How could you do this to us?

Fill in the blank: Andy Ogles ______
Ned Abdul is definitely a name in Minneapolis. I'm sure others here know more about his rise to prominence in the development scene and could tell the story far better than me. But even a cursory look into his holdings as owner of Swervo Development Corp is wild.

Uptown Partners LLC is also operated by Ned Abdul, according to business filings with the state. So, essentially, one guy controls the fate of development decisions in the heart of Uptown.
Because I can't help myself, I also looked at the adjoining properties. Ackerman Group owns the old William's building, and "Uptown Partners LLC" owns the old Walker Library (aka Mansion at Uptown event space).

Cross-referencing that business name with the Secretary of State Business Filing lookup, the manager of the LLC is Ned Abdul, the developer whose Armory Holdings LLC company owns the Armory and the Uptown Theater.

According to Hennepin County property records, this whole stretch of the north side of Lagoon, from Girard to Hennepin, is owned by Lagoon Partners LLC.
Good lord, how I cannot resist a building ownership dive. Thankfully, this one isn't nearly as complex as the old CVS at Snelling and University in St. Paul.
The upside is that he's also an alcoholic
It's only Tarzhay if it comes from the Vichy region of France
I'd put $100 on these influencers cooking the grayest ground beef you've ever seen.
the statement, "looksmaxxing by rawdogging boy kibble, no seasoning" just came out of my mouth.
i need to go outside.
Possibly unpopular opinion: the only good thing DoD drone programs have ever done is shoot down drones operated by other government agencies.
This is incredibly bad for researchers and the public at large. Want to know if corporate entities are buying up land for a data center? Out of luck. Want to know if private equtiy is buying up homes in your neighborhood? NOPE! Just a massive loss for public transparancy and accountability. (2/x)
One of the most underappreciated trends in tech over the past 30 years has been UI/UX changes that look good and enable constant use but obfuscate how computers and the internet work.
I takes a lot for me to not enjoy a place. Everywhere has their kooky shops and eccentric characters. But if you can't drink the tap water, I'm out.
I know better than to expect better from these people, but the intellectual dishonesty that says "your grandma going to vote at the community center gym is the same thing as armed agents of the state, actually," gets me every fucking time.
We don't catch up as often as we used to, but my friends from high school are still dope as hell.
This visualization of daily activity of ICE is unreal.
this is exactly what someone who feels guilty for not participating in rapid response and mutual aid would do.
This will be my line when i finish eating.
90% of the time it's on a menu, I order the Reuben. Gonna annoy so many people saying, "Look, it's a son!" when it's delivered to my table.
Homan's announcement today was *not* for Minnesotans. It was for the national press.

The next best thing is to attend a Rapid Response Training. Local organizations will provide the best info, but Indivisible is hosting one this Sunday, Feb. 15: indivisible.org/events/rapid...
At the very least, you need to review the Rapid Response Toolkit from the Legal Aid Justice Center: www.justice4all.org/rapid-respon...
