The real world. I've run campaigns, and met with a 10x more Democratic elected officials than most people. Basically all of them are in their positions for the right reasons. The exceptions tend to be people who hold deep blue seats.

I'm not sure if you have ever met an elected Democratic official, but...they want to do popular, good things. That's why they ran for office. That's their goal. You don't need to blackmail them into it. The reason they don't do popular, good things is because they don't have the power to do them.

The bottom line is Trump sacrificed 8 American lives (& counting) and more than 1,000 Iranian lives (& counting) for nothing. He hurt the US & global economies, destabilized the Middle East, & will pull out with the same Iranian regime in power. There's no silver lining.

The fact that Donald Trump is going to try to subvert the 2026 elections doesn't mean he will be successful. We have shown before that we can fight back in court and win. The key is that we must educate everyone about what is going to happen and what they can do as well to defend democracy.

Putin is our enemy. He's helping Iranian soldiers target American soldiers and assets.

Zelenskyy is our friend. He's helping American soldiers shoot down Iranian drones.

Most Americans understand these basic facts.
