These will probably be per-system but WoW: add bnet setup to steam and always run from there with proton. Helldivers 2: limit to 60fps, use borderless windowed because if you tab out of full-screen it will not let you tab back in. Warframe: switch to DX12 in start menu before launching game.

The only games you really can't run as far as I know are very limited, which would be games with kernel level anti-cheat like riot games and newer AAA FPS games like CoD and BF. Expect to do some tinkering, but often it will be seamless. I will add some specific game tips that helped next.

But is reporting high fps, disable compositing for full-screen windows in settings -> general. You can run many non-steam windows games by adding them to steam and then using proton with right click -> preferences -> compatibility and then selecting a build.
