Last week Trump said he didn't need Britain's help because he'd already won this war. So we mustn't let him push the UK around now.

Any decision on the deployment of our Armed Forces should be made in the UK's national interest and subject to a vote in Parliament.

You won’t remember the fine kebab I bought you Dave - you’re remember that shit show .
So we have done 100 years of watching Tottenham combined and we both left at half time for the first time.
That’s what this lot have done to us .
Happy Birthday

Well that’s a first . Left at half time . Taken me about 1200 games to do it .
Should have done it earlier in the season !

Rachel Reeves is right, Britain’s economic future depends on deeper cooperation with our European partners.

If we are serious about breaking down trade barriers and restoring growth, Single Market access has to be on the table.

Mad that the only way to get rid of ENIC is to get relegated. Appointing varying managers with conflicting ideologies and never really committing to any of them has absolutely killed the soul of this club. Everything is in a state of death. All of it.

RIP THFC

If I owned a football club I would pay any amount of money not to be embarrassed twice a year by my biggest rival but maybe I’m built different

Where did things go wrong people ask?

In 1979 when Margaret Thatcher sold 5% of BP for Β£600m.

It has since made nearly Β£1tn in profit.

She should have been thrown in jail just 5 months after she came to power.

What a great display of football today . Soaked getting to the game but worth it all . A delight to watch.

Nadhim Zahawi covered up and lied about Β£3m in unpaid tax for 6 years.

If he's looking for criminals he only needs a mirror.

It would be very easy to sit hear being delighted that Spurs have sacked Thomas Frank after a mind-bendingly terrible season that perfectly illustrated the underlying rot pervading all levels of the club so that’s exactly what I’ll be doing, yes, thankyou

Trust statement on the departure of Thomas Frank - Tottenham Hotspur Supporters' Trust The Trust welcomes the decision to part ways with Thomas Frank. While his appointment initially appeared to be a positive step, it has not delivered the progress or results the Club urgently...

This is it. The answer to why Spurs are bad is EVERYTHING.

Bad ownership. Bad squad construction. A bad head coach. A bad and inexperienced board. It's taken years of mismanagement to get here, but we are here now.

There is no reality in which Thomas Frank should still be Tottenham manager tomorrow morning

Suella Braverman’s parents emigrated (those horrible economic migrants not from a war zone she hates).

She went to Cambridge for free and didn’t collect Β£27k debt like everyone else. Scrounger.

She used the Erasmus scheme to study in France. Which she has blocked.

Horrible.

A bad draw playing bad football at Burnley shouldn't be sufficient to keep this man in his job.

He doesn't understand who we are or what we need.

It's telling that we don't look any better after a week on the training ground, the second time that has happened in the last couple of months. Whatever Frank's plan is, he can't get it across to the players

Very telling how much Aston Villa - in the Championship during the peak Pochettino years - have overtaken Spurs in the last few years. Now they're streets ahead. And they're not the only team to leap-frog Spurs this decade.

Launch UK-EU youth experience scheme with initial 44,000 cap, says cross-party commission A new cross-party report recommends the UK and EU should launch the UK’s largest and most generous scheme to restore opportunities for young people who have been denied them by Brexit.

@pimlicat.bsky.social: "Young people have been deprived for far too long of the chance to live, work and travel abroad - opportunities that enrich their futures while strengthening our economies. This report shows there is a sensible way to progress the scheme."
