About as good as you could ask for from #lufc that. Quarters here we come.

Well, apart from some odd VAR officiating, a lovely first half for #lufc. Tanaka struggling a little and Piroe quiet but everyone else showing they can make a difference. Norwich not great but doesn't stop our lot looking good for the final run in.
*losses. You think you've checked it all!
With two home kisses behind #lufc. Today could be a bit of a poisoned chalice. A third loss could add mental pressure, a win could create unwanted games at a critical time of the season. Do think we will be fine but there's always a worry. It's a win with no injuries that I'm going for.
Last night, #lufc can't it the wrong side of a game that was the worst of what football is. We have picked up points we probably didn't deserve and that we didn't expect. π€πΌ This is a one off and we quickly get back to our best. Still believe we will be fine.
Shit that. Sunderland with a smash and grab job through nega football. Can see why, and the big celebrations, as it takes them to 40 points but still annoying. #lufc by far the better team. Not great by any means but certainly better than them. Little bit of a 'not our night' night.
To be fair to Sunderland they have looked good. Matched or energy and made it hard for #lufc. Think we have edged it and will have too much in the second half but an entertaining first even though little happened. What I would say is if it is a high tackle in rugby, it's a high chance it's a penalty
#lufc competed, didn't look too much out of place and lost narrowly to a very rich team and a ref. I forget we are 15th. It doesn't feel like the relegation fight of the two previous times. It feels calmer and more hopeful. We are on the right side of it and looking confident.
Been a good game really. Can't have any complaints about #lufc. Apart from that header. That header was weird.
In my own head now. Any result will worry meπ€£
Worried that if #lufc get a draw today then statistically we'll get beaten by a team we would hope to get 3 from as a loss seems likely at done point. I guess we have got 3 points from 3 results that I didn't expect. Makes me think I need to chill and enjoy the ride. Other teams have more to do.
The advantage of not having followed the #lufc game until now means I am very pleased with a point against a good side, rather than gutted to have lost two. I know it was a late goal but I don't know how it unfolded. I can choose to believe it was well earned (don't tell me, I don't want to know).
Probably won't get to see much of the #lufc game today. Will be following from afar. Not thinking it will be a positive result but always hopeful of one and a good performance. Be good to see some of the players that have been injured to get good minutes and look hungry to be back.
Underserved but grateful for an #lufc win and success in a penalty shootout. Not been that frustrated with a game for a long time. Let's not make it a habit eh.
Credit to Birmingham, they are so much better than #lufc but it is a frustrating watch as we don't seem to have any real conviction. Long balls and aimless runs and passes whilst Birmingham are looking dangerous.
#lufc playing like the cup is a distraction from the premier League. Don't seem to want to win this game. Better with the changes but not enough heart.
Don't know why #lufc have sat back so much. Birmingham the better team because they've been given the space and chased it down. Also don't think they've worked so hard that they'll tire in the 2nd half. Just need to be more dynamic going forwards and closing the ball down. All very lacklustre.
Wow. Missed the second half for squash but good on you #lufc, you dug right in there.
Underwhelming. A loss is not a bad thing but a bad loss would be. Don't know if Farke is trying something in a game he can take a chance in but #lufc need a change to make it feel like we are more in this.
#lufc seem to be playing into Chelsea's hand. Looks very easy for them to find space. Maybe a real need to change.
Delighted with the 3 points. #lufc 's fitness and tenacity won us that game. Not that it was low quality but it was certainly clumsy. Gruev my pom but run close by Bogle at the end. Great start to the weekend.
Great result so far but don't know if it's nervy or complacent or one of those moments but seemed to be a lot of giving away of the ball at times. Finding it hard to keep it too. Need to settle second half as I dare say Forest would have won that half on points. #lufc just got the ones that count.
Great to see James and Bijol on the bench but would like to see Gnonto start instead of Okafor and also Longstaff. Forest always make me nervy. Not a bogey team but #lufc always seem to fall the wrong side of luck with them. Don't want to admit it's a must win but it's a bloody big game. π€πΌ
Good way of looking at it. Think the only truism we can take is that Leeds losing = bad, everyone else losing = good.
Then I guess we need to expect West Ham to lose all of theirs. π€£π€πΌ
Arsenal seem pretty pleased to have a 6 point gap between them and Man City. Think the #lufc family can take the same feeling of positivity.
Guess having Arsenal as an #lufc bogey team is better than Oldham.
Didn't see the second half but seems #lufc dropped off the boil. I know to concede an equaliser seems like dropped points after such a strong half but it's a point against a team above us in the form table and in the mix for Europe. Everton would have expected more too. Swings and roundabouts
Goalkeepers aside, I love how assured #lufc are for the most part. Not complacent it cocky but patient and calm. They all know their roles and positions and each others. They have such a fluent, supportive team ethic. S fully deserved lead. π€πΌ we hold on.
Feels a long time coming tonight's game which means it a bit more nervy. What gives me faith is that a Farke side will more often than not battle out a result. I'm sure we will see the #lufc we know and love tonight.
