How do you want your funeral to be?
I want people to extend their hand to help, not withdraw and say “what about me?”
I don’t want to see our rich, colorful culture be turned bland. I don’t want to see humanity slowly ground away by the flow of federal policy.
I want a country that accepts people for who they are so they don’t feel threatened and can function how they want.
These things I’ve kept in my heart my whole life are being threatened. I watch people grow cold and make excuses for cruelty and part of me breaks. I hope we can make it through these next few years and learn to see each other again.
…love your neighbor, be compassionate, be empathetic, see the nuance in life and understand not everything is black and white. Right and wrong aren’t always absolute. Be critical of your own thinking.
