I was regularly in an online conservative space for most of the Bush/Obama years. Comments like Fine's were regular there although others would object to them.

Ogles/Fine haven't said anything that wasn't a common idea among the GOP base for the last 25 years. Also iirc both stick to Islamophobia and its variants. King was explicitly white nationalist, it took a few years for them to actually take action, and they'd probably do nothing now about him.

Non-Orthodox tend to just fade into being one of many groups that are leftist, progressive, or centrist but have no reach among Jews who don't already agree with them.

Given that it's an ongoing process for the last two decades at least, intense is not the word I would use.

They were (in relative terms--I don't remember the precise amount) expensive when I was in school in the 1970s. Which is why the only one I got was for senior year, so we could sign everybody's pictures, and which is why it was my mother who paid for it, not me.

I'm not proficient in Hebrew so I've davened mostly in English all my laugh (mainly Orthodox or traditionalist siddurim). I agree about the beauty of Hebrew but the English versions don't sound cringey to me.
