Fair enough. I have heard of horror stories using a 3-pin charge though…
😅👍 I initially charged my current hybrid vehicle with a 3-pin lead. The only reason I stopped is that for a whole night of charge I only managed about 25 miles of charge, so barely worth it.

I’ve always read that’s not an advisable/safe option…
for that out of my own pocket, or else rely on using the charge card my employers will provide. Which is fine, but part of the convenience of EV is that you can charge at home, which I would lose out on. The other issue is charging at my regular long distance destination of Scarborough…

I’m going to be ‘forced’ down the road of EV as I get a vehicle with the job that I can also use for personal journeys. My only issue is having a charger installed at home, about 25m from the house at the bottom of the garden where my off-road parking is! I would have to fork out 1/2
