Thanks, I already had a workaround in place. My issue actually related more to the focus behavior than to the visuals.

I'm filing a bug report for this. Also I just checked this in Xcode/iOS 26 and in beta 1 this is even more broken. Neither horizontal nor vertical get disabled properly.

I stumbled upon some weird behavior regarding disabled and focus state with the TextField view today, I'm curious if you have any thoughts on this and why it might happen. So far I couldn't find anything similar.
