But forms... standardize things. And for complicated pieces, that's not when the commissioner wants- they want to feel involved in the creative process.

Total guess, but I wonder if their payment processor had a big in a security update that caused false failures, and maybe it registered old cards as invalid as well? But I can't imagine they'd just *remove* existing payment methods rather than just marking them with some kind of error.
Several things seem to be broken on that site. I tried 2 different cards 3 times each, I kept getting a "payment error" type message, even though one of them was the same card I'd previously been using. And then out of nowhere it accepted one that it had just given an error on.
