Some did leave dsa, and are joining other Maoist orgs. While others are remaining in dsa. But are in caucused for now

@decolonizeunions.bsky.social voiced their concerns for others. But BRG didn’t exactly show up for the meeting. So yeah, it’s a cult of personality in charge of liberation caucus atm

Basically BRG isn’t taking responsibility for making other liberation comrades feel uncomfortable. Due to his very combative tweets. There was an internal struggle and BRG and his friends won power for now. While Decolonizeunions and others left liberation.

Recommending anyone associated. Or who talks to BRG to disassociate with him, and his friends who run liberation caucus. They all aren’t as friendly as they seem. Really hoping those who are still in dsa liberation caucus can rest power away from BRG and co. And make liberation the best it can be.

It is stalking, cause you’re going out of your way to shame them on a public platform. All you all had to do is ignore those who left for legitimate reasons. But no, you’re continuing this fight. And making it public for everyone to see

Until that happens though. Then expect the caucus to keep bleeding members. Cause sect like behavior is never tolerated. Especially in Dsa too.

Liberation as a caucus won’t last long if you all keep going down this path. Yet if you all listen to the concerns that made comrades leave, address said concerns. And improve from them. Then maybe liberation caucus can become a truly great caucus.

Like I know you’re friends with a certain individual. But all that needed to happen was that he listen to the concerns. Learn from why they’re being raised. Someone self reflection maybe, and improve.

Listen, I would’ve expected better from you. Considering what you’ve experienced in the Maoist movement. Not to mention in Dsa, we hold members to account. If some comrades have concerns. Then let the process play out. Instead of upending it.

That’s some top down level shit that needs to be avoided in dsa, and caucuses. The members are the deciders, and the central committee carries out the will of the members in between conventions, or congresses. So no one person should be in charge of the caucus

Truthfully I find Bluesky a much better environment for dsa interactions than twitter
