i underestimated how nice having a cup of tea before bed truly is

this is “let me throw something on the grill” weather and i am ALIVE
it’s still light outside at 5 pm and all of the sudden, i have regained my will to live
too many male VAs use their relationships with the women/femmes in this space as stepping stones to popularity. it’s constant cycle of being collateral damage.
we deserve to be taken seriously as creators and respected as peers, friends, collab partners, etc. this shouldn’t have to be said, btw.
they have no interest in being peers; they want fans most of the time. chasing a quick nut and an ego boost because offline, that’s not the case.
but it all comes at the expense of the women around them; being wronged once they get what they want
and pushed aside when they don’t.
and if i may speak,
the problem is that there are too many men in this space who build platforms centered around what they can get from women with no regard for how they can collaborate with us and advocate for us.
my mothy was so good at the vet today - they called him a good boy so many times :3
