I agree! Indie games don't have a responsibility with "The finance guys" and can allow the creatives to explore more risky or unique ideas that sometimes fail and sometimes produce masterpieces!
I forgot to place colliders on a bunch of assets so I spent the week going backward and applying them with LODS... it was not a fun week :(
Once our composed sent us the music and we incorporated it into the first level we were awestruck with how big of an effect it had on the overall experience. Music is VITAL!
