a short comic featuring the scions in the rak'tika greatwood mid-shadowbringers. the first panel features thancred glancing over his shoulder casually, brow furrowed, flanked by a chatting y'shtola and urianger. he's inquiring where missy and minfilia (ryne) went. the second is a zoom out of him noticing them a few yalms away, the tops of their heads facing away from the group from the edge of the panel. thancred seems surprised and flustered by the sight of them, though the other scions (alisaie and alphinaud now seen as well) don't seem to take notice, still chatting among themselves. the third panel switches the perspective to show what thancred is seeing, which is missy and minfilia (ryne) knelt behind a log. they're watching an opo-opo curled against the base of a tree a few more yalms from them, distracted from the meal in his claws by their inquiring stares. they both match the confused tilt of it's head.

missy half-sat in thancred's lap, seemingly lounging, face leaned in close to his as she tugs on his collar. their faces are mostly obscured by their hair, but what you can see of them is all smirk.
