The Iowa Deer Classic has me thinking about all the hunting I've done with my dad. Now, I'm sharing that tradition with my boys.

A record breaking number of Democrats, Republicans, and independents have signed their names to get this campaign on the ballot. Today, we turned those petitions in and get to work towards a better & truer Iowa.
Officially on the ballot.
24,756 signatures
2,000+ registered Republicans
3,300+ no-party signers
Thank you to every single Iowan who signed a petition to get us on the ballot - and break records while we're at it.
People we elected and we pay with our tax dollars are saying they don’t care if Iowans vote for a new direction: they are going to keep us in their rut.

Iowa workers shouldn’t have to beg their elected officials to fight for them - especially when it comes to keeping jobs here in Iowa. www.thegazette.com/opinion/gues...
Does it make me old if I plan to go to bed earlier tonight because of day light savings?
They see us coming to flip tables, so they’re rigging in their budgeting control past the next election. Show them Iowans don't want partisan games - they want common sense leadership. go.robsand.com/bsk
Got out last weekend to enjoy the last bit of the snow. Thanks Seven Oaks.
My dad taught me that hunting isn’t just about the size of the buck - it’s about preserving the Iowa way of life, coming together as a community, and honoring our outdoors - lessons I hope to help pass on to the next generation. huntingwithrob.com
A photo of a mural painted on the side of a building in Corning, Iowa featuring different breeds of birds.
Incredible new-ish mural in Corning- painted in 2024, I didn’t notice it last year.
A clip from an article that reads "The balances in those surplus funding sources, however, are declining. In March of 2024, the agency's projections for the 2025 state budget year were a $3 billion general fund budget surplus plus $3.7 billion in the Taxpayer Relief Fund. In other words, the combined surplus in those two accounts in less than two years has dropped from $6.7 billion to $3.5 billion."
We are still waiting for anyone who did this to share a plan for what will happen in 2 years when the surplus is gone.
A photo of the front page of the Cedar Rapids Gazette with the headline - "Sand: Iowa should recoup Whirlpool incentives after layoffs"
Headline says it all.
More tragic news. Another Iowan lost their life. Rest in peace to Maj. Jeffrey R. O’Brien from Indianola. Thank you for your service. www.kwqc.com/app/2026/03/...
I've had enough, and I think Iowans have, too.
I’ve been saying this for years – every year on the 4th of July we celebrate Independence Day after denying independent voters the same rights at the ballot box. It’s wrong. I signed this, others should too! openprimaries.org/declaration-...
A photo of a press release that reads: Rob Sand Campaign Responds to Blatant Lie from Randy Feenstra DES MOINES, IA – Today, Republican candidate for governor Randy Feenstra released a new ad lying about Rob Sand’s record, falsely claiming Rob would refuse to stand to protect American citizens. Immediately following the State of the Union, Rob appeared on WHO’s The Simon Conway Show and answered this question point-blank: Simon: “If you’d have been in that Chamber, would you have stood up or stayed sat down?” Rob: “I would have stood up and I would’ve applauded. I think that’s pretty basic…”
Randy Feenstra is lying to Iowans. Again.

Iowa: please join me in praying for Declan Coady, a 20-year old Army Reservist and Drake student, who was one of the lives lost among the escalating conflict in the Middle East. www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/2...

The PIE program is all about finding efficiencies & saving tax dollars. And eating more pie.

A governor should have the authority to respond to emergencies, shape the budget, and hold government officials accountable. Instead, political insiders are changing the rules because they know I'm ready to hold them accountable and put an end to their corruption.
Not EVERYTHING online needs to be political - especially lunch.

If you visit Bridgewater, Iowa (pop. 148) watch out for La Familia Frese! Three brothers that really run things! (Just kidding- everyone knows the city clerk Mary Dunn is the real muscle behind the operation.) Congrats on your PIE Award for govt efficiency!
Big budget surplus = good.
Using that surplus for wasteful spending = not good.
