#MCAT scores were released today and I didn’t improve. I was sure I had at least gone up a couple points. Feeling really down about myself even though I know I’ve done some amazing work so far. The road to med school is hard and I need to give myself grace, but right now, I’m just disappointed.

It may seem like a little thing to other science majors, but for me, it’s huge that

I PASSED ORGANIC CHEMISTRY 2!!

It took me 7 times to pass ochem 1, but just 1 try for ochem 2. I’d say that’s impressive progress!!

On to finishing Physics this summer and Biochemistry in the fall. #premed

I’m doing it. I’m applying to medical school! AMCAS opens Thursday and AACOMAS opens next week.

I’m a non-traditional student who’s dreamt of this forever. And the closer I get, the more real (and more terrifying) it becomes.

But I’m ready. Let’s do this.
