Three European Common Cuttlefish (Sepia officinalis) by the sandy sea floor. One is partially into the sand and behind the other cuttlefish on the right, so they are hard to see. The other two cuttlefish are in the centre of the picture. Of the centre two, the left cuttlefish is angled to the side and touching the other one with its arms, as if it is whispering stuff to the right cuttlefish. The right cuttlefish has wide pupils, so it looks surprised. All the cuttlefish are brown with white stripes and white spots.
