A group of people protesting the Gaza genocide. The group of people is facing away from the photographer and facing a glass walled building. Visible is a number of Palestinian flags and some protest signs. They are outside the ministry of foreign affairs in Iceland.
A great loss! My favourite radio app has been blocked here in Denmark. BBC Sounds should remain available worldwide, showcasing why the BBC is still the gold standard in public service broadcasting.

Heima í nokkra daga eftir tveggja mánaða vinnusturlun. Gott að spila smá fótbolta og hvíla hugann í augnablik fyrir næstu törn⚽️🧘🏻♀️
🤣🙏🏼
Somehow the hardest piece I ever played but so worth it.
Tryllt
Var að byrja á þessari🤯

Hélt fyrirlestur í Harvard og byggði völundarhús með börnunum mínum. Góður mánudagur🤝
Also working on the setup of the score for my new orchestra piece with my lovely team.
Haven’t done too much reading or listening the last couple of weeks, but have been in a good writing flow and enjoyed bits of a couple of great books. Working on a new trio for POING and a production with Scenatet and my friend Magga Bjarna.
Albums of the week:
Concentration by Susan Alcorn. Absolutely gorgeous.
Maria Callas: Pure.
I love this album, it puts me in a good mood every time. In the strange times we are living right now, I really recommend listening to it for cleansing and refocusing✨
Books of the week:
Digital Minimalism: Choosing a Focused Life in a Noisy World by Cal Newport
The Patriarchs: How Men Came to Rule by Angela Saini
Ensamtal by Ann Jäderlund
Was not too fond of the first two. I found Jäderlund’s poetry selection beautiful (and musical!).
Vá, magnað. Hugsa að eg hlusti á þessa líka!
