Cracking choice to coincide with my sartorial stylings for the day

So they redeemed themselves. That’s good to know and restores my faith in humanity.

A travesty that that wasn’t green lit. Who are these anti joy through art people and why are they allowed to make decisions?

This is the correct opinion. Dredd isn’t a hero or an anti-hero. He’s the embodiment of authority and the opposition to humanity. We should all hate him, but he does have a cool bike, badge and gun. Fun watching him suffer in the Cursed Earth though.

Sounds like a good way to get a headache. Might join you.

Blood and sand! I would have been so livid, I’d have written to my local ombudsman!

Goddamn! I love that song.

Last night I relented and fed my delay and reverb through my amps effects loop and it improved my guitar sound exponentially. Curse my stubborn laziness for not doing this sooner.

I’ve just been listening to to that myself. That lad loves playing guitar!

They mean he’s a slippery, smarmy, wanker that the media loves for a sound bite.

Still annoyed at the Liverpool result yesterday. Thankfully off to see Stygian Bough/40 Watt Sun later that should cheer me up with their light hearted and life affirming tunes.

Definition of epic.

Aye… that build up with the pay off of the following riff just nailed it! Tough to top, but they kept it fresh and wrote some fantastic music.

My favourite band for the last 33 years. They’ve had theirs ups and downs musically, but they’re always at least, good.

My favourite Isis release. The Red Sea song is immense!

Hydrahead releases were almost a guarantee of top quality back then. Very much my jam at the time. Always worth revisiting.

I trust you’ll be doom dancing?

They did wake up eventually. Terrible first half. Without Solanke they’d be nowhere though.

Just retreating to nowhere.

Can’t help it. I got into hussle culture/grindcore.

29.01.2026 11:41 πŸ‘ 1 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

Aye… that must be why I’m not playing pure grind any more. Needed money for the mortgage. Still got blast beats in the works though. Watch this space.

These people wouldn’t know a decent blast beat if it turned up to their house and offered them more work.

Checking out the latest Soul Jazz comp, Jungalist! All tracks from 1993/95. Still sound as exciting and vital as they did over 30 years ago. Cracking stuff. Booyakasha!

Listening to Allan Holdsworth, as all guitarist should. Mind numbing every time!

If ever there was a band to only listen to on badly pressed 7”, or poorly dubbed cassettes, it’s Disclose. This was a poor decision 🀣

It was rad. I was about to 13 or 14 and the crowd all sang Vitalite instead of The Israelites. Bit disrespectful, but funny.
