Flyer poorly translated from Hebrew to English advertising Shabbat Chayei Sara/Shabbat Hebron. Dates for Nov. 22-23 and 21-22. A lot of the flyer isn’t really coherent but the gist is asking people to join them to be religious extremist freaks attacking Palestinians on their own land. The host groups are offering basic meals of “bread, salads, meat chowder, and kugel” and zero accomodations.
Expect to see an uptick in settler extremist violence in the West Bank. This upcoming weekend is Shabbat Chayei Sara, which is basically a settler riot.
It’s hosted in part by Hebron Fund, which raises money to assist extremist violence and land theft. It is a sanctioned organization.

There’s a lot of reasons to learn labor history, one big one is that many of us have never lived in a time of real worker power, or seen it exercised. We’ve never seen a general strike shut down our city and bring bosses to their knees. But it’s happened before and it will happen again.

5. For years, as a Black woman journalist, hid how furious I am that Baltimore is a 63 percent. Black. City. With almost zero newsrooms (save for @baltimorebeat.bsky.social) and a sad amount of *salaried* Black reporters to show for it. No longer.
6. If this upsets you, go look at your newsroom!
Whenever I’m in an all-white space in Baltimore, I think of how much work it took to get it that way.
