Points of appeal will include whether a conscientious motivation should be treated as mitigation, and whether throwing soup at some glass should be sentenced as an act of violence. Could be huge!
Big news: in late Jan, the Court of Appeal is to conduct a mass hearing of 16 Just Stop Oil protesters, all jailed since July 2024, including the Van Gogh soup-throwers and those who received record-breaking terms for planning disruption on the M25.
