I was dozing off quite early this evening despite getting plenty of sleep the previous night. Had my teeth brushed before 10 p.m. & thought I'd be getting to sleep super early and then . . . uh . . . I had an idea for a story and had to write it down and uh the internet happened i guess.

My mom made a lot of jewelry; I nearly forgot about the period where she was making jewelry using stuff she sculpted out of Fimo clay. So many floral designs (but then she was an avid gardener in addition to being an artist, teacher, & interior decorator).
Two necklaces featuring pink and purple and red roses, with a metallic sort of effect on them. Made out of FIMO clay. One of them comes with two little purple rose post earrings.

My mom didn’t just make floral designs using FIMO clay, this is one of her more abstract pieces— a big necklace iwth a chunk of clay that is a mix of colors in striped bands. There are also some beads on the cord.
She did some necklaces and pins of iris and daylilies and other flors too which tracks given my mom’s love of those plants. Purple and yellow irises here, orange daylily i think.
I took pictures of some pieces from the latest batch of jewelry I acquired that my mom made (out of fimo clay).
These are mostly necklaces (well, one set with post earrings), but there are also a ton of pins & earrings along these same lines.

Oh crap, I totally spaced it (had meant to bid on vids from a few folks).
I am not actually a vidder, just a longtime fan of fanvids. I have no video editing skills at all, it's almost comical how clueless I am about it.
And now I just realized I forgot to bid in the Fandom Trumps Hate auction, had considered bidding on some vidder's offerings . . . oh well.
For years I thought if I ever made a fanvid it would be a multifandom TV vid to that song but tonight I was like "okay, what about an Until the End of the World" vid and then I thought "wait, a Strange New Worlds vid" and then I thought about multifandom movies & with some dancing I don't know. 🤔

It is kind of a big change going from having someone tell me they loved me a dozen or more times a day and hugging someone regularly to not touching another human being in over a year unless you count medical appointments I guess. What fun.
Anyway. Grief posting, oh boy! Hey, it's after 3am.
The fanfic I've been writing is comical in the sappiness of it under the circumstances. Truly a mystery why I'm writing about touch starved characters or characters who are grieving. Though someone said I write awkwardness well. In addition to writing grief well. That's me! (sigh.)
Thinking about how in the days after the election Kevin and I were pretty miserable but talked about how at least we would have each other as we weathered the horrors and then he died and doing this on my own sucks.
God he'd hate all of this though. His rants would've been epic.

I'm not even looking at it, I guess. Hoping the people taking care of things know what their doing or whoever runs the funds or whatever. Feeling foolish for not getting a handle on all of this and taking charge long before now but the brief & inability to cope has been overwhelming.

I haven't been to a DQ since before the pandemic. We had multiple coupons for 2 free large Blizzards & Kevin and I kept thinking we'd go hit up a drive thru & didn't do it. (Oh wait, I think I got those because delivery orders from DQ went awry so I've had DQ just not been to one.)
I don't think I'd even had DQ cakes before these came out and then when left to my own devices living across the street from a DQ when they had these . . . well. I was depressed and living in an apartment by myself and the Treatzza pizzas were there for me. 😂
