Some things I barely understand (I probably donβt) but are still fascinating. Do these things relate to music? Nah (but maybe though?).

But if you zoom out that far, that becomes a meaningless thing to say. Do you not see that?

To be clear, I love both and Tom Morello and Dave Harrington's approach to guitar. Just thought the similarity was striking enough to discuss.

Here is Tom Morello's part from Audioslave's "Shadow on the Sun," timestamped.
I hear similarity specifically in the downbeat placement and restraint (one or two notes), and in the guitar tone.
Obviously Tom is more heavily featuring that cool glitch/stutter effect.

Dave Harrington's guitar part in Darkside - "Graucha Max" reminded me of something deep in my college memory banks... so I busted out Audioslave's self-titled debut album to compare.

What a gift of an interview. I loved every question and how open and sincere Mark was. Well done. Amazing that you got to hear the whole thing already and think itβs your album of the year. I didnβt think i could be more excited for it!
The last sentence is literally a form of teaching though.
Oh my goodness, Kevin Knox
