Very interesting paper examining MgSO4 treatment implementation for preterm babies, and the cost-effectiveness of improving implementation. We need a similar focus in #PedsICU!

I have written for Don't Forget the Bubbles about implementation science in paediatric intensive care. To improve the care we give the sickest children, we need to understand how knowledge is mobilised to the bedside. If you are interested, get in touch!

PICU colleagues, could I please ask for your help yet again - a 3-5 minute survey on how we use evidence in PICU imperial.eu.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_... and how we can improve our provision of evidence-based care! Thank you so much ππ
Thank you Arun! I will put it on our Slack! π€
Last call before we write up our first report- we are especially missing responses from German PICUs - we believe there may be 100 of you but only 6 responses so far! If anyone is a paediatric intensive care professional in Germany we would be really grateful if you have time to reply!

Interesting paper in PICJournalWatch this month - single centre cohort study of renal outcomes 11 years after PICU admission! One of the few studies I have seen with such long follow-up. AKI was associated with CKD 11 years later pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/39585355/
He sounds like an amazing man π₯°
Thanks so much to all who have responded so far!
We currently have few/no responses from PICUs in - Germany, Czechia, Denmark, Estonia, Greece, Hungary, Poland, Sweden, and Switzerland. If you work in PICU #PedsICU in these places, please fill it in! Thank you so much! π€©
