Sure, check out "rat park". A lot of studies by Bruce Alexander back in the 70s and 80s.

So proud of our new work comparing opioid self-administration between old (24 mo!) and young mice. We found that the old mice learned self-administration faster and took more remifentanil than the young mice. Great job team!

Ask around you. People understand and will try to provide ice if they can. Hotels, restaurants, they all helped me in times of need.
