I've had an M1 MBP for a few years. I'm a dev. Do local AI. All the nerdy stuff... have never wanted for more. Apple Silicon is so... so... good. Too good. A friend just returned his new M4 MBP because it didn't feel much different from his M2. Apple's outdone itself. Brilliant stuff.
