If i haven't posted much artwork, its because I literally have no more creative will left to want to post art. Yes, its my job. But i just dont feel like posting it because i dont feel happy. This current "gov" is just evil. I dont feel like posting art to cover up the damage its done.

I don't give a shit if you think porn is yucky, or if transness confuses you, or if seeing/hearing a foreigner makes you uneasy, GET THE FUCK OVER IT. If you lst the government take rights from those people, ANY PEOPLE, then NOBODY has rights. They'll find a way to criminalize you too, promise.

If you aren't mortified/horrified/angry about the inhumanity of what's going on in Kansas, you should be. Over night they just took away the rights to LIVE/VOTE/EXIST from trans folks. If they can do that to trans, what's next? Women? Anyone with a skin color that isn't white? This is disgusting.

I've said this before but just because some artists are able to draw BIPOC characters sometimes does not mean that they are "safe" for us to be around.
Discernment is good to have, and I don't think I'll ever let that go.
The keyword here is "sometimes".

People wonder why renders are expensive compared to sketches. Its because they take a lot of work and time, and if an artist undercharges, they have to take on more to make enough. Art is a luxury. I try to make it affordable, but then it bites me and piles up. Its a hard balance.

I think a big part of why I love elden ring is because there are so many little details and clues to pick from that can create a narrative. I think taking everyrhing literally is an injustice to the nature of art and storytelling. Also the game straight up says to mistrust. Unreliable narrator etc

I will never claim my theory as "truth". Its just a plausible idea until proven wrong. And i could have definitely missed something, but I -try- to stay true to evidence in game. Also like all art, its subjective to interpretation.

One thing I want to make a distinction between head-cannon/fic vs a theory that may be plausible.

Theory is an educated guess made on given/solid evidence. Reading between lines is valid if based on evidence.

Head-cannon/fic adding to the story in a believable way, but not based on evidence.

It is fun! That's the great part about art. Many interpretations based on context clues but also a little bit of connecting the dots using your own logic based on what is given. Like any good story book, the symbolism and meanings are often never out right said, but implied/paralells to other chars

Bird people were in base game lore in mention :) all of my theories are based off game text and environmental clues. It seems like it's not, but that'sthe fine line between reading between the lines that are given to connect dots. That's how people pick up nuances and sub text in books, too.

Basically... I think the theorists are on the right track, but interpretting the clues wrong. I think everyone has a bit of it right and need to work together to unify their theories. I think prejudice against certain characters needs to be removed to get the full picture. Lying narrator trope.
