Good point, these are common games. Was thinking more globally.
Yeah, you may actually be penalized by scoring more runs.
If you allow 3 runs in 18 outs, that's .1666, if you allow 3 runs in 27 outs, that's .111.
A 13-3 win 6 innings should be better than a 4-3 win in 9 innings, but the way I read the tiebreaker, the 4-3 win is better.
Runs allowed per out recorded would be a better way of saying it.
I have set foot on the campuses of three MAAC schools. I attended Canisius, went to an open house at Niagara, and I went to a math conference at Siena (which I point out to my wife every time we go to the Adirondacks and pass Siena on the 87.)
Big Dave Thomas fan. Dave Thomas worked for Colonel Sanders and helped him launch KFC more nationally. Thomas parlayed that success into launching Wendy's. He was an adoption advocate (as he was adopted) and his foundation supporting adoption is still going today.
The most charitable interpretation is that he is blissfully ignorant about what the world is right now. I cannot give him the benefit of the doubt. I've accepted his MAGAness is a thing, and yes I will still cheer when he scores, but ugh.
Bert Convy on Murder She Wrote
I opened up Pluto TV to look at Iron Chef streaming and I was greeted by Bert Convy on Murder She Wrote. Hell yeah.
I rarely have strong reactions to things, but when people were giving grief when the Bills-Steelers playoff game got postponed βfor a little snowβ when we had people die in a blizzard the previous year, that greatly enraged me.
Even though it's been many years since the tanking stopped, the Sabres are just now to the point where they more resemble a team that is fun to watch and root for. The mindset was still prevalent for years after the fact. It is why I no longer support tanking. Winning is cool, even one off games.
I agree with this. The Sabres openly tanking was awful and so much worse than the Bills being mediocre for a decade and a half. Part of that is football is differently consumed than hockey, but Effort to Win and Lose >>> No Effort and Lose
I mean for many years they could justify it with people want to hear Rick Jeanneret, but though I have no issues with Dan Dunleavy and Rob Ray, I'd much rather have a proper radio broadcast.
The Sabres cheap out on the broadcast. The radio feed is just the TV feed, so on the radio commentary, it isn't descriptive enough.
I liked the commentator in the mixed doubles final (sorry, I don't recall who) said to Kevin Martin that you don't speak Swedish, but you speak broom. And Martin was able to describe the potential shots.
Kubiak and his wife, Rhonda, have three sons: Klint, Klay, and Klein
He believes in alliteration.
According to my research, it's Maroon. This is the son of the founder of the business founder who died in 2020. (Also, his dad just straight up bought the bridge in 1979 when it was sold. The railroad industry built it.) www.youtube.com/watch?v=wzsK...
So Life's Been Good?
I often say about Catan that you canβt feed your family with development cards, but I guess you can. Who am I to doubt Josh Allen.
(Without listening I assume two starting cities were upgraded to settlements, 2 for biggest army and 4 victory point cards)
I had always thought that Kjell & Ulf Samuelsson were brothers, but they are not related. They are also basically the same person. Long time physical NHL D from Sweden. Settled in the United States. 4 kids (3 sons & 1 daughter) w/ NHL playing sons. Coaching/Scouting in their post playing careers
I thought he was doing a bit until he became the nominee to be the Ambassador to Malaysia. www.state.gov/adams-nichol...
I appreciate how you have sunglasses on in the picture. Very on brand.
Buddy Nix hype.
(I had to confirm he was still with us, otherwise this would be a Dirk Richter meme)
Ooof, I missed a few things. They're not too far away from calling Philip Rivers in as well.
The other two should be Trevor Lawrence and CJ Stroud, but if they get themselves out, then you have Cam Ward, Tua, Geno Smith, any of the Jets QB, Joe Flacco, Tyler Huntley
They covered him on the Crime in Sports podcast and when they cover an athlete, they often ask the question idiot or asshole, and answered without hesitation, asshole. No doubts there.
Your choices are salt, an ice chopper, and/or time. www.uline.com/Product/Deta...
Given that Terry Pegula has hired both Ted Nolan and Lindy Ruff to coach the Sabres a second time, I guess hiring Joe Brady is better than hiring Wade Phillips or 100 year old Marv Levy
That sucks and I hope it gets fixed. I will tell you that I at least saw your Oklahoma State hockey video this morning and appreciated learning about that.
