I agree. I started reading more than one book at a time in middle school. I had a really awesome English and reading comprehension teacher in 5th grade that taught encouraged us to read more than one book. It kinda exploded after that. Lol

Update on reading the Dark Tower series. I’m digging The Stand but I already failed in my attempt not to read more than one book at a time. I started reading Mr. Mercedes as well.

I discovered that version of The Hobbit my freshman year in the school’s library. I found refuge from bullies and my anxiety in those pages. I took me forever, but I finally found that cover and the LOTR trilogy with that artwork a few years back. They hold a special place in my bookshelf.
