I realized part of the reason stargaze doesn't hit as hard for me is because there's no western themes. It's all sci-fi. Trigun is so beautifully unique because it's a mix of two genres that aren't usually mixed. But stargaze has been only sci-fi with zero western

I also miss when anime had filler.

I don't hate stargaze don't get me wrong. It just cannot evoke the same love in my heart that stampede did

Sometimes when I go back to look at stampede stuff it makes me want to cry because I think about what stargaze could have been if it had stampede's crew
