So carrying a gun is breaking the law? I wish it was but it isn’t and neither is peacefully recording or protesting in a public space. If this was in a script of a movie, the director would cut if for being laughably out of line with reality, yet here we are.
This is 100% correct. Moreover, he should have never been engaged by ICE because he was simply recording and offering aid to someone, neither of which is a crime. And, if he were never engaged, he’d be alive.
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
They should filibuster everything until ICE stands down.
