This is most certainly only one of several plans Team Trump are working on to keep him in power. They didnβt plan ahead for the closing of the Straight of Hormuz but they are looking at every option and eventuality when it comes to this election.

Next, Noem writes a book documenting all the crazy but holds it till after the mid-terms. Before it comes out, Trump frames her as incompetent as if he didnβt hire her while threatening her and publisher about publishing secrets that are also lies. The media just accepts it all.
This should be required reading for any PhD methods seminar.
Trump administration officials acknowledged in closed-door briefings with congressional staff that there was no intelligence suggesting Iran planned to attack US forces first, two people familiar with the matter said reut.rs/46ybyTg
The most disappointing thing in the whole affair regarding how Trump treated the womenβs Olympic hockey team is that the men still accepted the invite. Every woman in their lives should force them to explain.
What next? National archives saying the constitution is fine but we need to remove the Bill of Rights because they are too divisive? Especially those pesky 1st, 13th, and 19th amendmentsβ¦π€¦π»ββοΈ

ICE is still doing checkpoints in Minneapolis like we are an occupied territory. Life remains really hard here thanks to Trump's thugs.
Video from this morning shows ICE agents deploying tear gas outside a Minneapolis preschool as parents shout, βThis is a preschool! Thereβs kids here!β
You canβt reform this.
Throw the whole department away.
In the wake of Minnesota, it can get worse and it will, unless we act!

Across America and the world, people are realizing itβs not possible to appease Americaβs dictator.
The only way to deal with him is to stand up to him β and the only way to stand up to him is by joining together against him.
It's time for a massive general strike across the country.
So carrying a gun is breaking the law? I wish it was but it isnβt and neither is peacefully recording or protesting in a public space. If this was in a script of a movie, the director would cut if for being laughably out of line with reality, yet here we are.
This is 100% correct. Moreover, he should have never been engaged by ICE because he was simply recording and offering aid to someone, neither of which is a crime. And, if he were never engaged, heβd be alive.
The killing of Alex Pretti is a heartbreaking tragedy. It should also be a wake-up call to every American, regardless of party, that many of our core values as a nation are increasingly under assault.
They should filibuster everything until ICE stands down.
Protester in Minneapolis just before disappearing in gas: "Fuck you! Stop. Damn! I'm 70 years old and I'm fuckin' angry!"
This is correct. Everyone should strike and these athletes could start it.
Woman on the right was using her walker to advance into the tear gas
Let us all have the courage displayed by the residents of Minneapolis.

Screenshot of 2 Threadsβ posts: @marathoncaboose: Listen to Black people. This IS the America they know. We are just waking up to it. @thereal.choc: I may get hate for this but: White people, they're doing this to put fear in your hearts to get you to comply and not use your privileges because they know once enough of yall are pissed off, they've lost the plot, yall will side with us, and the Revolution will begin. Do not get scared, get fucking pissed off. -Signed, a Mad Black Woman.
We asked my brother in law, who did two tours of duty in the Middle East with the Army, if he had seen yesterdayβs video and he said βIf I had done that in Afghanistan it would have literally and legally been a war crime.β
Itβs time for a general strike to send a message. CEOs, labor unions, church leaders, organizations like Business Roundtable & U.S. Chamber of Commerce, and others should clearly and forcefully use their platforms to denounce what is happening and support a peaceful protest to stop this now. 2/2
With the second murder of an innocent American at hands of ICE in MN (on top of countless other atrocities against citizens and non-citizens alike), the US is at an inflection point. This either stops now or it continues to get much, much worse.

Itβs time for a general strike.
Somehow I just figure this will end with @musicologyduck.bsky.social arrested by ICE and the bus driver running the department of transportation.
Sadly, too many in America donβt see Trump as an idiot or any of his decisions as a problem.
A powerful bit of humanity and resistance amidst the chaos caused by Trump and ICE.
