You're all very nice for not pointing out the typos, thank you. Someday, we will have an edit button.

...I think that's *exactly* how I found out about JFWYAaYMNGitH, tbh
We have projects we want to do next and hopefully this will allow us to do that.
TLRA Tuesday update!
We have moved the fully illustrated PDF to paid ($25) but we will have the text-only (adapted for screen-readers!) version as PWYW forever, available soon. We will also be releasing community copies of the full book at regular intervals for those who want to avail themselves.
And if you see us at an event, pitch your game to Alan! They will make a point to share it with attendees who visit us if you have something that's more their speed than what we're slinging β₯οΈ
We have 3x the views and downloads as the result 1-3 people adding us to their collections on itch than we have from our Glass Cannon feature or tabling at MAGFest (we had other benefits from those things! just not sheer number of eyeballs). Word of mouth is crucial for small titles!
my job situation was heavily compromised during these past 3 months. next month things should get fixed, but as of now, i need to pay rent and credit card. apart from donations, my partner and i accept jobs paid in advance for any of the following: β Game Design | Writing β Project Management β Marketing/Ads help β Website / App creation β Editing | Proofreading β SPA | ENG Translations β Sensitivity Consulting β TTRPG and Book layout
I couldn't hate doing this more, but I've been avoiding it for quite too long.
@ladyazulina.bsky.social and I are offering our services for any kind of project from the ones below. If you have something else in mind, feel free to DM me, and I could accept it as well.

Unfortunately we will not be making this today. Our next scheduled event is GameFace Con.
They seemed ESPECIALLY bad today, holy shit π«©
Zine rack showing "Designed in the DMV" signage and displaying the 2025 DMV Games Catalog.
With all this "tiers of the industry" discourse, I just wanna stop and extol the virtues of artists collectives founded on non-capitalist values.
Over a year ago we formed Designed in the DMV to create a community among tabletop designers, and between us and our local retailers.

Nice. I finished a deeply disappointing game from a studio I usually love and I trust your taste in stuff so I was curious!
What video games are you playing at the moment?

If you're on the northern Virginia side of the DMV, we're participating in a huge fantasy market in Occoquan! You'll find me (KW) slinging books and prints in the High Keep Market inside the VFW building. You'll find co-designer Alan at Madigan's Waterfront running character creation demos as well!
oooooo that is *inspired*

My partner's favorite form of time pressure in a short (1-5 sessions) game is an impending hurricane so it's happened a few times. Currently we are trying to evacuate all the vampires out of a Miami-type city before the storm hits.
I desperately wish we could have subtitles in theatrical showings!
Axolotl with a gun is at 69 followers on Kickstarter

Nice.
They were absolutely vital for doing my pepper seed starts when I lived in Iowa and my seed starting room (the coal room in our 1920s basement) was way colder than the laundry room I use now. But always got bumper crops of jalapeno and Thai chilis.
I found for peppers and only peppers the heat mat has been helpful. Everything else, it's a toss up.
More substantive/grown-up TLRA Tuesday post later π
screengrab of the collections tab on Itch.io, showing that THE LONG ROAD AHEAD has been added to 69 collections.
Nice.
(in all seriousness, thank you to everyone who has added THE LONG ROAD AHEAD to their collections on Itch, it seems to be the pathway that brings the most people to the gameπ)
do you like fucked up houses? do you wanna build your own?

I don't know enough about cars to be helpful (and we're too far north anyway) but I do know what it is to be without transport, I hope somebody can hook you up.
Anybody in the DC area able to point Wes in a good direction on this to get them back on the road?
*doodled guys, my kingdom for an edit button
I loved your little doodles guys, especially the snoozy one you gave me (Kitty) πΉ I felt a particular kinship with it at that point in the con π΄
