“Universal design” means that when we design society inclusively, it benefits everyone.
The other point to remember is that everyone, if they live long enough, will become disabled. Just because you don’t need an accommodation now doesn’t mean you NEVER will.
But it means caring about wellbeing.

In past rounds of moral panics on campus, when “cancel culture” and “trigger warnings” were still the threats du jour, pundits and social media outrage peddlers converged to frame campus protests at large as threats to “free speech.” Responding to the steady churn of outrage-bait framing protesting students as “snowflakes” and “crybullies,” state legislatures across the country passed a flurry of “campus free speech” bills drafted by right-wing think tanks, which expanded the range of anti-protest measures available to college administrators. To be sure, boycotts and deplatforming protests were useful props in these efforts. Still, what made it possible to inflate deplatforming incidents into threats that required expansion of repressive state power was the failure to question a securitized vision of liberty that, since Bush’s “they hate our freedoms” speech, has become increasingly dominant.

I am currently rewatching The Wire, and it sounds like the suburban animals are, too.
The reviews used to justify this excluded nearly 97% of all studies from inclusion in their analysis. This is an absolutely obscene hatchet job by the NHS specifically created to eliminate access to hormones for trans youth.
Then once that news cycle is over, they’ll forget all about it until the next ricochet.

I think a lot of dog owners don’t know how important nail trims are to prevent arthritis and help your dog have good mobility as he ages without chronic pain.

The other is a prolonged period of sustained military combat that Congress calls: “a war”

This is exactly the kind of article my local Mom for Liberty WON’T believe: a trans journalist writing about her own experience.
It’s the same arrogance of white conservatives who tell Black Americans that anti-racism policies are the REAL racism, they’re just too stupid to see it.

My lesbian mothers-in-law would not believe my trans daughter was a girl because she “liked boy things” and “acted like a boy.”
If I had a cis girl and ever implied she was not a girl or less valid as a girl for these same reasons, they would have bitten my head off.
Logic is NOT their strong point!
Remember: hate isn’t logical.
You can rarely “reason” someone out of hate. It’s an emotional reaction that needs to be offset by someone with whom they have an emotional connection.
The rest of us just need to know that their hate is WRONG.
