You don’t have to play 2 to understand 3 at all fwiw. 😬 And you have a button to switch between samurai and ninja so combat can be as nuts as you want it. Also waaaay more approachable. Nioh 2 gets stuuuuuupid hard at the end.

3 is open world in such a good way. And time travel.

2 is a favorite too. As much as I love 1, each one after was a huge upgrade somehow.

Nioh 3 is incredible. It’s not day 1 anymore but still way worth getting.

I like more dice. One thing that never clicked with the normal d20s is progression. I feel like more dice gives a better base “you are good at this” and makes the low rolls that much more chance driven so it feels like a rare miss rather than just a dice roll. Plus rolling more dice feels “stronger”

@white2tea.bsky.social club sheng as it pours all day. I realized I needed more sheng and remedied that tonight (and got a sweet plum gaiwan and new chabu to boot) so I’m pretty hyped. I’m less hyped that I ordered kow soi at maximum spice the day after a dental procedure. My whole head felt numb🤷🏻‍♂️
