yeah so I forgot how agonizingly long UI stuff takes me to design/implement, and this project is literally all UI lol

Right?? I have a lot of MOBA experience from League, but I have genuinely no clue what I’m doing in deadlock
father? sorry. father? sorry
I think I just want an excuse to make a fantasy OS :p
—and you handle all of the healing requests by interfacing with a windows95-style OS.
I’ve been brainstorming some ideas for it while I’ve been sick. I’m thinking you work for like, a remote healing agency. So you’re not actually in the dungeon yourself; instead, adventurers request healing from terminals that have been installed in the dungeon—
I wanna make a game where you play as a dungeon healer
Ooo you’re actually right. She’s for sure the most successful example of a digital actor
oooo your sketches have some really appealing line weight variation!
idk if I actually like the idea. I might just be super attached to some OCs that are trapped in a dead-end project lol
I kind of like the idea of digital actors. Like, OCs that appear in multiple, disconnected projects while keeping their general appearance/voice.
the game is hard 😿

Deadlock looks like it could be fun. Anyone know how difficult getting an invite is?
Maybe it doesn't sometimes require symbols at all and I'm just bad at character consistency across a wide range of angles. I'm generally kinda bad at keeping characters consistent (even across "tame" angles), so that's probably what it is lol
I really need to, idk how to put it, push my perspective more?
When I draw faces from certain angles, I tend to ignore proper anatomy and fall back to drawing symbols even when I know it's not correct. It's hard though, because sometimes maintaining style/likeness requires symbols over accuracy.
this is from like 4 or 5 years ago. I've gotten so much better at drawing him how I want him to look :-D
(OLD ART ALERT!!!!) he's an angel named Caecilius
wip of my oc :-3
