that's their goal, though. they truly mangled her character because she's meant to be someone who doesn't do any of those things– it ends up showing the ~moral superiority~ of liadrin and thus the light when wielded with good intentions, aka palatably to reassuring ideas with regards to colonization

i think the first problem that needs fixing is the forced empathy with the alliance and consequent sidelining of the horde. we're (horde players) expected to see ourselves in the alliance, but it is never the other way around. I'm sorry but the reason i main horde is because of the stories of unity

they could have made the friction between the alliance and horde much more culturally interesting if only they addressed how different everyone in the army of the light is, and made the alliance races comment that there were no proper accomodations for their culture, and ask for them. maybe, idk
