Greenwashing isn’t just a communication error. It actively undermines ecological efforts.

It temporarily soothes the conscience of consumers. We are all exposed on a daily basis to abusively reassuring messages that distract us from the environmental emergency and maintain a status quo that we know is untenable.
3/ Greenwashing accelerates environmental collapse.
It gives companies more time and money to pursue business as usual, which is incompatible with the urgent need to transform our relationship with consumption.
2/ Greenwashing undermines trust.
By creating the illusion that “everyone is already acting”, it makes it harder to distinguish between genuine efforts and surface-level posturing. It erodes consumer confidence in legitimate environmental initiatives.
