i personally integrate head-canon stuff about m!viera physiology varying between individuals (like some having tails and some not) in a way that kind of accommodates for other NPC and PCs. that's just me though haha
and that's only the geopolitical side. they really leave a lot of stuff for interpretation, most prominently naming if your m!viera is more integrated into the more larger cultures throughout etheirys.
i personally use established lore as a guideline and extrapolate based on what's left up for interpretation! like for example my m!viera moved from Othard to a village on the fringes of Eastern Ilsabard, and eventually ended up in Eorzea crossing baelsar's wall after an imperial raid on the village

i feel bad when i dont have a super great opinion about a lot of media but dispatch in particular just has some glaring issues including [side eyes the romance aspect of the game]
watching most of the routes and alternate cutscenes for dispatch itβs like a solid 6/10 for me. it has an interesting premise and it has some good humor but the writing veers too much into what feels like something written by a painfully millennial person
iβve gotten a lot more confident over the past few years, but now iβm not sure how much iβm feigning confidence just so the delicate balance iβve reached doesnβt fall apart
