Queer horror has been outperforming every other genre for the past half decade at least

Was the Reaper/cat POTG?
Hammond trying to serve up lunch and Malcom serving up inconvenient truth is a fantastic scene. For all the spectacle thatβs what really stuck with me.
βCome hang out on my private islandβ just doesnβt land the same in 2026
When you are rewatching Jurassic Park and realize that Adult You most closely resembles the bloodsucking lawyer. But then you work in IT so youβre actually closer to Lex and sigh in relief.
I don't want to shit on anyone's sundae and don't care about being in the conversation. But being invested in OW for the first few years of its life, I very well understand why some people who want that relevance are still grinding an ax with OW even though they are years detached.

My budget priority when determining which publications to support: Co-op > Labor unionized > Profit sharing > Employees seem to like management > Corpo
The easier it is for me to see that labor is treated well, the easier it is for me to keep subscribing.

"Early Access" on Steam is starting to feel like a means to disclose use of AI at a later date

You should be concerned about #Discord IPO and "more #AI." This is the same #enshittification that has occurred at every other online service that thinks they have captured users (you) and business (any discord youre in +1000 users). If Elon buys Discord, and you leave, who is following you where?
Whoa that's cool!
Sensational headlines like these in my RSS feed that give LLM way more credit than they deserve are why I will not be renewing my subscription this year.
2026 looking alot like 2025 already
The main guys hated filming with COVID precautions, and as somebody who still masks and tests anytime I go out, I can sympathize with them wanting to wrap shit up and get back to book writing
Phantasy Star Online is a hell of a drug
My Top 5 Games I would have played but AI:
- The Alters
- Arc Raiders
- Jump Space
- Of Ash and Steel
- Warhammer 40k: Dark Heresy
As somebody who purchased SoM but is adhering to BDS as best they can, I think some editorial rationale at the top of an article about how coverage was considered against BDS would be adequate. Ex.: "BDS optionally targets XGS, but SoM/Overwatch are inclusive when US govt is oppressing minorities"
BDS asked for a 3 tiered optional approach with 1st being cancel Game Pass and 3rd boycotting anything published. First call for BDS I can find is Apr 3. SoM released Apr 8. This is incredibly unfortunate timing and huge overlap of audiences.
I'm watching Uncle Buck for the first time. I did not know that they made a movie about me!
It looks like it's compatible with and inspired their other game, which was itself inspired by Phantasy Star espergenesis.alligatoralleyentertainment.com
And those aren't necessarily even big hurdles. Nvidia may not even make consumer gfx cards anymore, and games that require anti-cheat, live-service games, might be wearing out their welcome. The only game I missed this year is... Destiny 2. I still had a great year gaming.
Anti-cheat and Nvidia drivers are probably the last significant hurdles.
It's only money, you cant take it with you, and really when will retro ever be a better deal?
