Me wearing a t shirt showing the album cover of Troublegum by Therapy? – which is nude man bent over a rubbish bin in black and white
My New Year’s Day comfort outfit - because nothing says ‘Happy New Year’ like a naked man with his head in a bin. (Also, love this album)
Happy 2026

What looks like an old decorative metal ring, aged and rusted, with twists and a slightly textured surface
Dug this up in the garden the other day. Looks like a decorative ring but I wonder what it is, who it belonged to and when, etc etc
Kid’s asking me why I’m not playing Silksong yet after waiting literal YEARS. I… don’t know? Feel like I need to mentally prepare. Hollow Knight was SO beautiful, and you only get to play something for the first time once, does that make sense?
SO excited though. #Silksong

A humanistic brown moth stands on a branch and looks out at a big full moon. He holds a stinging nettle tip and two other moths fly at his sides. A wasp-like creature with blue eyes lurks in the leaves above.
It’s finally time for some book news and a super fancy cover reveal ✨😅
Thrilled to say that THE TRAITOR MOTH is coming out with @simonkids.bsky.social in April 26 and introduces a mg fantasy world of moths, mutants, and fiercely loyal clans. Check out this beauutiful cover by @cafween.bsky.social

An old letter detailing the ‘Spanish prisoner’ scam
Other side of the ‘Spanish prisoner’ scam letter
Newspaper clipping from 1935 about an incident of someone receiving the ‘Spanish prisoner’ letter
Postage stamp on front of envelope from 6th Feb 1935
Want to see a 90 year old scam letter? This was in our airing cupboard! Claims to be from a Spanish relative who’s been imprisoned for “a noble and just political cause”, and offers a share of £31000 that in exchange for looking after his daughter. It’s a version of many of today’s scam emails!
There’s a great short story in Ted Chiang’s Exhalation that plays around with this.
Happy #PublicationDay to @gregjenner.bsky.social @rikinparekh.bsky.social and… me! This has been the most fun I have ever had writing a book, hands down — exactly the way archaeology ought to be ;) (otherwise I’d get a real job, wouldn’t I) www.walker.co.uk/978152952249...
Looks like another absolute cracker from Dan here!
Ancient home video of me as a child has surfaced. There was clearly, ahem, some tension between what the adults wanted from me in them and what I as a little kid wanted to do. This culminated in a performance straight out of the dance scene in Dogtooth. Hilarious and remarkable. Left me kinda proud
Ok this may end up not being today 🤣then again, it might be. All I can say is, welcome to my chaos world, and I promise some news of some sort is IMMINENT
Yay! 😁🎉
Love that bug mug!
Absolutely spot on
