I feel this. I don’t know how to respond to folks when I get some version of the “You’re so Brave” comment. But, I’m not brave, At least I don’t want to have to be to just exist.

Getting tired of hearing how "brave" I am for transitioning.

I transitioned because trying to be a guy was going to kill me.

And I don't want to have to be brave. I want to be joyful. I don't want to live my life fighting someone's indifference or hatred.

But that’s why (partly) I’m in therapy.

Yeah, I mean, I get the sentiment behind it given their other albums but I enjoyed it. Probably my fav albums were Exit Stage Left, Permanent Waves, and Moving Pictures.

My first album was Caress of Steel, I think. I played electric bass in Jazz band and in the Pitt in marching band (Tuba parts). But the drum line and I would always play YYZ during every football game just to tick off our band director.
