Colour patchwork blocks of red and pink roses on a background of various greens.

I deliberated on the background colours. I’ve gone for more is more this time with yet more colour in the background, keeping this very scrappy in feel. Next time, I’ll try a low volume background which will tone down the colours.

I’ve been a couple of times. A rainy winter day was so much quieter. Summer was a crush. Still beautiful but I don’t think my feet touched the ground in some places 🫣

It’s a beautiful place. Hopefully not as crowded as the summer for you.

This project may well be my ode to stripes. I’m still not sure on layout. And that’s ok for right now. I’m enjoying the play. I’m making more mini striped flowers to use as spacers, which seem to be working well.
