Back on our pig experiment.
Back on our pig experiment.
Rural culture update.
Ski jump distance judging tonight.
Don't see this very often.
Update: our tree is coming down this weekend. [frowny face]
That's no fun. I'm not looking forward to taking our tree down.
And smells. My inability to smell natural gas 10 years ago still comes up.
As far as we know!
Unsuccessful deer drive.
Prednisone made me the most effective home cleaner on the planet. I usually have trouble sitting still, but uff da...I couldn't stop doing stuff.
Did the exact same thing while we watched Fellowship yesterday. "Oh, it was great...we waited in line for like six hours and some dudes dressed all in black showed up on horses...etc"
I use the Cassandra story to describe people at work sometimes and am meet with blank stares. Love to see references to it.
My sons and I, Badger fans, went to the Marquette v Wisconsin game a few weeks ago (Badgers lost) and were told "Fuck you, Wisconsin" several times walking back to the car. It was great. All in good fun.
My daughter just described Gollum as "the weird guy without a shirt".
My fighting fire for 13 years as a volunteer became evident tonight. Paged out for a structure fire and so left the house pretty hastily. When I got home, not one of my kids asked any questions.
One of the best lines is from the trial...."This tape has a timecode in it and those are very difficult to fake."
Tom and Jerry...
One of our friends randomly dropped off a homemade Tom & Key mix. Delicious and unexpected.
Try balancing something on your chin and impress your relatives.
At the Badgers Marquette men's basketball game. The halftime entertainment is a guy who balances things on his chin. Love it.
I found out this morning that I'm something like a 5th cousin to Pete Hegseth.
Update: Canceled en route; the parents removed the kid's tongue from the pole.
Our local First Responders were just paged out for a three year old with their tongue stuck to a pole. It's about 10F here.
I wear stocking caps all year round. Sure, you get teased in the summer, but I love them.
Circle of life.
They can be cute sometimes.
