After our armory today, I was saying that being able to draft an Aesir that flips the Macro into something else would be super sick. My initial thought was that it would be Runeblade-Illusionist-Wizard to leave Lightning free for our heroes.

Decimator GreatAxe. It's a Warrior weapon that has been used to great effect in SAGE because it reduces block values and can shove impressive damage with Felling Swing and Overpower.
Pair this with their new Unity equipment to block big attacks easily and you have one hell of a deck.
Did get to watch @lukefab.bsky.social make an absolutely INSANE play in the finals to survive drawing a three non-block hand into DGA.
It sucks to lose but it's awesome watching a friend and local win.
2nd and last SAGE PQ
W-L-W-L-L ending 2-3 and losing two win-and-in's to miss out on Top 8. Two losses felt very RNG but the last loss was definitely due to a misplay stemming from poor mental.
Need to make sure I re-calibrate and remind myself to think through every line.

Another Tier 2 season and yet another weekend where I have no clue what deck I'm going to play because everything feels like the wrong choice and everyone is more experienced than me.
The deck choice probably doesn't even matter. It's just GEM and draw luck + mentality.
